July 13: Traffic Shifts for Drainage Work

Charleston County Government announces traffic shifts for drainage work over the next two weeks so workers can safely access drainage boxes. All work is weather permitting.

  • The lane shifts will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday – Friday.
  • One lane in each direction of travel will remain open at all times.
  • Drivers traveling through the project’s construction zone should be aware of equipment and crews working in the area at all times.

The goal of the project is to improve traffic flow and safety on Maybank Highway and to provide adequate bicycle and pedestrian accommodations.
